Our Story

Eclipse Earn was born from a simple observation: cryptocurrency trading shouldn't be reserved for Wall Street professionals or tech-savvy elites. Back in early 2023, our founding team – a diverse group of AI researchers, financial analysts, and software engineers – came together with a shared frustration.

We'd watched countless people in emerging markets like Ghana struggle to participate in the digital economy. Traditional financial systems weren't serving them well, and cryptocurrency felt simultaneously promising and inaccessible. The technology existed to change this, but nobody was building it with African users in mind.

So we did something about it. We spent six months in intensive development, not just coding algorithms but actually talking to potential users in Accra, Kumasi, and Takoradi. We learned about the unique challenges people faced – unreliable internet connections, limited access to international payment methods, and a general skepticism born from too many financial scams.

The Eclipse Earn platform officially launched in March 2023 with just 47 beta users, all from Ghana. Those early adopters gave us invaluable feedback that shaped what we've become today. They told us when our interface was too complicated, when our fees didn't make sense, and when our customer support wasn't responsive enough.

We listened. We iterated. We improved. Today, Eclipse Earn serves thousands of users across West Africa, processing over 15,000 trades daily. But we've never forgotten those 47 people who trusted us when we were just an idea with some code behind it.

AI Research Division

Based primarily in Estonia and the UK, our AI researchers hold advanced degrees in machine learning, quantitative finance, and data science. They're responsible for the algorithms that power Eclipse Earn's trading decisions – continuously refining, testing, and improving our systems.

Ghana Operations Team

This is where the rubber meets the road. Our Accra-based team handles customer support, monitors local market conditions, maintains relationships with payment processors, and ensures compliance with Ghanaian regulations. They're available Monday through Saturday during West African business hours because we know that's when you need us.

Security & Compliance

A dedicated team ensures we meet European financial regulations, Ghanaian legal requirements, and international security standards. They conduct regular audits, manage our insurance partnerships, and stay ahead of evolving regulatory landscapes.

Our Commitment to Ghana

We actively invest in financial literacy programs, sponsor local tech events, and partner with Ghanaian educational institutions to teach students about cryptocurrency and AI technology. We employ local talent whenever possible, not because it's cheaper (it often isn't), but because they bring invaluable cultural understanding and market insight.

We've also made operational commitments specific to the Ghanaian market: maintaining customer support during West African hours, supporting mobile money platforms, keeping minimum deposits low to remain accessible, and working within Bank of Ghana guidelines even as regulations evolve.

Regulatory Compliance

Eclipse Earn operates as a registered entity in Estonia, holding necessary licenses for automated trading services under European financial regulations. Our Estonia registration provides the regulatory framework that allows us to operate internationally while maintaining high compliance standards.

In Ghana, we're registered with the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) and operate in accordance with Bank of Ghana's guidelines for digital asset platforms. We maintain transparent communication with regulatory bodies and adapt our operations as guidelines evolve.

We're also insured through our European insurance partner, providing coverage on user deposits up to 100,000 EUR. This isn't required by law – we chose to secure this protection because it's the right thing to do for our users.
